About the role
- Creating 2D project documentation (sketches of apparatus with appropriate details)
- Creating demand specifications, technical clarification of offers from suppliers and their technical evaluation
- Preparation of the technical part of the purchase orders
- Inspection of production documentation
- Cooperation and coordination with colleagues from other professions
- Negotiations with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients
- Support for the inspection department during inspections of work in progress, dimensional inspections and final acceptances
- Support for construction and assistance during commissioning
Requirements
- Studies in Mechanical engineering (secondary or higher education)
- Knowledge of English – ideally at a communicative level
- Ability to read technical drawings
- General knowledge of materials (stainless and carbon steel)
- Knowledge of welding
- Basic understanding of fluid mechanics or thermodynamics
- Positive attitude toward chemistry is an advantage
- Good communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail
