About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of creative concepts and campaigns for clients
  • Develop and execute media relations and social media strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in PR in Canada
  • At least two years within a PR agency environment is required
  • Proven relationships with local, regional, and national media
  • Exceptional writing, listening, and communication skills
  • Assertiveness and initiative to identify and address tasks, challenges, and opportunities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes under tight deadlines
  • University or college degree in a related field, such as Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or Journalism in Canada
