About the role

  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate implementation of clinical logic
  • Independently write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries that power clinical workflows and decision logic within CaryHealth’s SaaS platform
  • Evaluate interim performance metrics and clinical outcomes to assess product effectiveness, clinical impact, and operational efficiency
  • Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve engagement, efficiency, and outcomes across CaryHealth’s digital health products
  • Support experimentation and iteration by analyzing results from pilots, feature launches, and workflow changes
  • Communicate insights clearly through dashboards, summaries, and presentations tailored to clinical, product, and leadership audiences
  • Translate clinical processes and requirements into scalable data models, analytics pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support product growth
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes, pharmacy workflows, and user experience through data-driven insights
  • Support clinical strategy and product decision-making by delivering clear, actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SQL experience, including complex queries and data validation
  • Background in healthcare, clinical operations, or healthcare analytics
  • Experience working with clinical data (e.g., EHR, claims, pharmacy, quality measures, or population health data)
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed
  • Demonstrated can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible to apply for this position.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Nursing (RN, BSN) or Pharmacist (PharmD, RPh) degree
  • Proficiency in Python, including experience writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data analysis, automation, or application development.
  • Experience working with health plans and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics, regulatory reporting, or value-based care programs
