About the role
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate implementation of clinical logic
- Independently write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries that power clinical workflows and decision logic within CaryHealth’s SaaS platform
- Evaluate interim performance metrics and clinical outcomes to assess product effectiveness, clinical impact, and operational efficiency
- Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve engagement, efficiency, and outcomes across CaryHealth’s digital health products
- Support experimentation and iteration by analyzing results from pilots, feature launches, and workflow changes
- Communicate insights clearly through dashboards, summaries, and presentations tailored to clinical, product, and leadership audiences
- Translate clinical processes and requirements into scalable data models, analytics pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support product growth
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes, pharmacy workflows, and user experience through data-driven insights
- Support clinical strategy and product decision-making by delivering clear, actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SQL experience, including complex queries and data validation
- Background in healthcare, clinical operations, or healthcare analytics
- Experience working with clinical data (e.g., EHR, claims, pharmacy, quality measures, or population health data)
- Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed
- Demonstrated can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service

- Preferred Qualifications
- Nursing (RN, BSN) or Pharmacist (PharmD, RPh) degree
- Proficiency in Python, including experience writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data analysis, automation, or application development.
- Experience working with health plans and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics, regulatory reporting, or value-based care programs
