About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate job site installation and startup of equipment.
  • Work closely with Project Manager’s at CMCo and customer locations.
  • Conduct site inspections and create reports.
  • Manage contractor interfaces and start-up of equipment.
  • Guide CMCo technicians while on site.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of three years experience in construction management.
  • Previous experience managing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Thorough understanding of installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple start-up sites at one time.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
  • Ability to understand and respond to questions related to submittals and specifications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well with multiple disciplines (project managers, contractors, engineers, and end users).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Ability to travel and work hours as required to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in mediation and negotiation.
