About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for open roles across all departments
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of job roles, required skills, certifications, and day-to-day responsibilities
- Consult with hiring managers to understand open roles and ideal candidate profiles
- Source, review, and screen resumes and applications
- Conduct phone interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and fit
- Compile qualified candidate shortlists and present recommendations to hiring managers
- Coordinate and schedule interviews
- Verify candidate employment eligibility and gather documentation
- Communicate job duties, schedules, compensation, and benefits to candidates
- Coordinate reference and background checks
- Prepare and extend job offers under direction of the VP General Services or hiring manager
- Notify unsuccessful candidates of application status
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS
- Handle moderately complex hiring issues independently and escalate complex situations
- Attend job fairs, career events, and trade school/college partnerships
- Provide email and phone follow-up to candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and hiring information
- Maintain knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing tools, and ATS platforms
- Provide status updates on requisition pipelines and candidate activity
- Interface with the VP General Services on hiring priorities and complex requisitions
- No supervisory responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 to 4 years of recruiting, human resources, or related experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage a higher volume of open requisitions across multiple departments
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information across a range of role types, including technician job requirements
- Basic proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or willingness to learn
- General computer and technology proficiency
- Discretion in handling confidential candidate and employment information
- Customer/client orientation and professionalism when representing the Company to candidates
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and telephone for the majority of the workday
