About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for hospital, provider and ancillary provider contracting
- Facilitate optimal member access and successful business growth initiatives
- Develop a Contracting Strategy for various targeted markets
- Responsible for robust competitor and provider analysis
- Ensure provider network is adequate and meets requirements
- Interact with Finance Department on pricing for provider contracts
- Implement performance improvement initiatives for Provider Satisfaction Scores
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health-related field
- Minimum 5 years management experience required
- Minimum of 3 years contract negotiation experience required
- Managed care experience highly preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of Network Management Processes & Services
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Critical listening and thinking skills
