About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple applications throughout their lifecycle including tasks such as installation, updating, patching, and overseeing the software and hardware components necessary for application operation
- Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity within the organization
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to others
- Ensure proper functioning of Control M platform, all core components including Server, EM, CCM, Agents, GUI, etc.
- Create and manage Node Groups and User and Group administration
- Manage upgrades to new versions of Control-M and migrate workflows to new platforms
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements
- Create recovery solutions during major outages
- Conduct daily analysis and reporting of the production
- Resolve high-priority issues related to Control M.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- At least 5 -8 years of experience in large scale IT Infra environment
- Experience in Infrastructure or middleware support
- Good to Have - BMC Control‑M Certification
- Good to have -Linux Administration (RHCSA / equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Must be infrastructure administrator of Control M and have deep knowledge and experience on the BMC Control M platform
- Experience with Plugin deployment mainly Database, Informatica, Peoplesoft , AWS
- Experience with Unix/Linux and/or Windows environments is mandatory
- Knowledge of batch scheduling concepts, file transfers, and dependencies
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, Perl, or Python) is an advantage
- Experience in DR/HA activity
- Should have good knowledge and hands on in Control M Rest API
- Hands-on experience with: Control‑M Distributed (Linux/Windows) or Control‑M Mainframe
- Well-developed logical structuring approach to solving problems, framing ideas or developing plans
- Ability to operate in SOX / ISO / Internal Audit‑controlled environments.
