Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native data platforms using Snowflake and AWS
Own technical direction across Snowflake data warehousing, engineering excellence
Architect and implement data platforms on AWS with strong security and governance
Design and optimize Snowflake models and workloads
Establish engineering standards
Drive estimation, planning, and delivery execution
Mentor engineers and raise the bar through design reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering Stream
Minimum relevant experience - 7+ years in Snowflake, AWS
Snowflake data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling)
SQL expertise and performance tuning
Data ingestion/ELT patterns and orchestration
Data governance fundamentals
Automated testing and code quality tooling
CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
Designing scalable, maintainable systems
Understanding of handling sensitive data (PII/PHI)
