Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and data requirements within the US Healthcare domain.
Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, data requirement documents, and supporting artifacts.
Perform data analysis using strong SQL (Snowflake or similar platforms) to validate requirements, analyze source data, and support business questions.
Analyze healthcare claims data (medical, pharmacy, eligibility, provider) to identify trends, data gaps, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
Translate business needs into clear data requirements, including field definitions, logic, transformations, and business rules.
Work closely with data engineering, reporting, and analytics teams to ensure accurate implementation of business and data requirements.
Support UAT, data validation, and reconciliation by validating outputs against business rules and source data.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
Provide explanations and walkthroughs of data outputs and metrics to business users to support informed decision‑making.
Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in the US Healthcare industry.
Strong experience working with health insurance data, including any of them:
o Claims adjudication
o Eligibility and enrollment
o Provider data
o Clinical data
Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and requirement confirmation (Snowflake or similar data platforms).
Proven experience in requirement analysis and BRD preparation, with the ability to clearly articulate business and data needs.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
