About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strengthen member value and engagement by developing, maintaining and deepening relationships with Advance CTE members
  • Respond to member inquiries and research requests, synthesizing information and connecting members with timely, relevant resources and supports
  • Partner with staff to develop member-facing content
  • Build member capacity by coordinating in-person and virtual professional learning opportunities
  • Represent Advance CTE by attending and supporting conferences
  • Support the onboarding and success of new State CTE Directors
  • Advance strategic member engagement initiatives
  • Support membership operations by coordinating membership audits and annual dues renewal processes
  • Coordinate the creation and enhancement of Advance CTE's member platform
  • Support the planning and execution of Advance CTE's Fall and Spring Convenings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience
  • Excellent organizational, project management and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Comfortable with technology: association platform, scheduling tools, virtual learning management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, including racial equity
