About the role

  • Promote awareness and education of clinical research and access to clinical trials to diverse communities
  • Deliver clear, engaging presentations to individuals and groups and translate complex concepts for general audiences
  • Engage with individuals and groups unfamiliar or uninterested in clinical research while maintaining respect
  • Network and build partnerships, organize events, and manage on-site event coordination and logistics
  • Communicate participant and partner feedback to company leadership
  • Travel extensively across North America to understand and engage with diverse participants and partners
  • Manage remote work and community-based responsibilities, adapting quickly to new communities
  • Demonstrate empathy towards partners and participants and uphold patient confidentiality and ethical considerations
  • Rapidly assimilate new information and proactively seek answers to deepen subject matter and community understanding
  • Use modern technology for communication and data management and contribute to project management and problem-solving

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated clinical and/or education experience
  • Proven track record of autonomous project initiation and completion
  • Direct patient education or experience creating community networks and engaging and developing community partnerships are preferred
  • Healthcare credentialing and advanced scientific or public health education are strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and passionate about clinical trials and healthcare
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to forge and maintain positive working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability in networking, partnership building, and event organization
  • Proficiency in using modern technology for communication and data management
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and ethical considerations in clinical research
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Candidates must have the ability to travel throughout North America as well as work remotely
  • Must have access to reliable, high-speed internet
  • Must be able to travel via commercial airline
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License (Valid / Authorized to Drive in Canada and the US)
  • Must have access to and be willing and able to drive their own reliable, operable, and safe vehicle when in their home community
  • Must have and maintain safe driving record and submit to Motor Vehicle Record Check
  • Must show proof of valid vehicle insurance and registration
