About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support modernization efforts to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools
- Deploy applications
- Install and configure complex software
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Monitor and maintain systems for required performance levels
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support, roughly 1 week out of every 3–4 weeks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution
- Required experience with Linux
- Required experience with AWS, MASH, and VMs
- Required experience with Docker Swarm
- Experience deploying distributed web applications, such as GitLab CI/CD
- Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
- Ansible scripting and development
- Thorough understanding of Docker and Docker Compose container technology
- Git
