About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support modernization efforts to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools
  • Deploy applications
  • Install and configure complex software
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Monitor and maintain systems for required performance levels
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support, roughly 1 week out of every 3–4 weeks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Required experience with Linux
  • Required experience with AWS, MASH, and VMs
  • Required experience with Docker Swarm
  • Experience deploying distributed web applications, such as GitLab CI/CD
  • Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
  • Ansible scripting and development
  • Thorough understanding of Docker and Docker Compose container technology
  • Git
