About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Captivation Software is looking for a a strong full-stack software developer with functional UI experience but primarily focused on backend web services and servers.
Experience with open-source integrations would be great and any experience with open-source tools is required - i.e. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Tomcat, Spring, JMS and AWS.
Strong communication skills are needed. Other technologies required: java, JavaScript, mongo DB, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and MySQL.

What you’ll need

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
