Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system.
Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition.
Facilitate story/sprint planning, sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos.

Requirements

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
At least five years of experience performing in a Lead System Engineer role for a software development team
Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience
Familiarity with software development using Unix/Linux, Java or Java Spring frameworks, RESTful micro-services (Spring Boot), and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
Working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
Acting as liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Benefits

Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
