About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, maintain, and enhance the proprietary clinical data analytics repository
  • Plan, lead, and oversee projects using project management processes to meet due dates and budgeted costs
  • Coordinate with customers and IT
  • Analyze and research business problems, system impacts, and automation feasibility
  • Develop IT solutions using structured methodologies and conform to PMO guidelines
  • Conduct customer meetings to define and satisfy requirements
  • Design innovative solutions using emerging and existing technologies and assess implementation feasibility
  • Prepare test data and conduct program and system testing
  • Assist customers with acceptance criteria and evaluate solution effectiveness
  • Maintain and enhance programs, systems, scripts, stored procedures, documentation, and maintenance schedules
  • Evaluate and select vendor software and integrate it with existing systems
  • Serve as a focal point for problem resolution and customer inquiries
  • Research new technologies, tools, and methodologies
  • Work independently and with project teams while adapting to changing customer priorities
  • Communicate through presentations, documentation, and other communications
  • Provide off-hours assistance supporting customers and IT initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2 years of relevant IT experience
  • 2 years of experience in data analytics
  • Experience with analysis and design concepts
  • Experience with database management technologies, data modeling practices, and database platforms
  • Experience with programming languages, testing tools, and productivity tools
  • Ability to interpret and apply customer business practices, procedures, and concepts
  • Knowledge of project management techniques
  • Experience with server technologies and platforms
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards and parsing complex clinical data formats
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics platforms, including claims and clinical data
  • Knowledge of clinical data formats, including organizing, mapping, and presenting insights and opportunities
  • Experience with HL7 and FHIR
  • Experience with clinical data formats including CCD, ADT, and Labs
  • Experience with C#, Node.js, Python, SQL, Informatica, and REST API
  • Ability to communicate effectively in presentations, documentation, and all communications
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing customer priorities, and work independently or with a project team
  • Ability to provide off-hours assistance to support customers and IT initiatives
  • May undergo background checks
