About the role

Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions across healthcare payer systems
Serve as a systems integrator, responsible for connecting diverse platforms using modern APIs, middleware technologies, and cloud-native services
Research emerging and evolving technologies and assess the applicability to the Plan
Monitor CBC’s use of technology and make appropriate recommendations for technology enhancement or replacement
Provide consulting services to the various business and technical areas of the Plan

12 years of work experience in software development
3 years of experience in project management or supervisory role
6+ years of experience in API development and system integration
Proficiency in Java and Node.js; experience with Python and C# is a plus
Strong understanding of API design principles and integration patterns
Experience with Apache Kafka, SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure Cloud Services
Experience in the healthcare payer industry (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.)
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Devsecops practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education
