About the role
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions across healthcare payer systems
- Serve as a systems integrator, responsible for connecting diverse platforms using modern APIs, middleware technologies, and cloud-native services
- Research emerging and evolving technologies and assess the applicability to the Plan
- Monitor CBC’s use of technology and make appropriate recommendations for technology enhancement or replacement
- Provide consulting services to the various business and technical areas of the Plan
Requirements
- 12 years of work experience in software development
- 3 years of experience in project management or supervisory role
- 6+ years of experience in API development and system integration
- Proficiency in Java and Node.js; experience with Python and C# is a plus
- Strong understanding of API design principles and integration patterns
- Experience with Apache Kafka, SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure Cloud Services
- Experience in the healthcare payer industry (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Devsecops practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education
