About the role
- Manage large multi-faceted projects or multiple projects simultaneously
- Organize teams, develop plans, and facilitate project execution to achieve organizational goals
- Run projects with budgets ranging from $50,000 to multi-million dollars and varying team sizes
- Mentor and train less-experienced Project Managers
- Implement projects on time and on budget; raise issues and risks with transparency
- Follow corporate project lifecycle and Agile practices where appropriate
- Provide governance, ensure deliverables acceptance, and close projects within 45-60 days of go-live
- Monitor project budgets, perform monthly budget reconciliation, and utilize enterprise resourcing reports
- Engage vendors, ensure schedule adherence, and work with Vendor Management and Legal as appropriate
- Develop and monitor KPIs and Cost-Benefit Analysis; ensure stakeholder communication plans
Requirements
- Ability to manage large multi-faceted projects or multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience with project management (waterfall and agile)
- Proficiencies in MS Office applications, MS Project, Visio, Adobe
- 5 years of project management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in progressive leadership roles in a corporate environment strongly preferred
- Relevant professional certifications (PMP, SCRUM) preferred but not required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Ability to work over 40 hours per week
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 5 pounds
- Comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments
