About the role
- Define and lead data architecture and strategy across analytical, operational, and integration platforms.
- Lead and mentor data engineers, architects, and analytics teams, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
- Design and oversee end-to-end data solutions: ingestion, processing, modeling, and consumption layers.
- Drive data integration initiatives between heterogeneous systems, cloud platforms, and third-party solutions.
- Ensure data governance, data quality, metadata management, and lifecycle practices.
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable and secure solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of BI, analytics, and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and technical decisions in complex, data-intensive projects.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and business teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Lead, Data Architect, or Senior Data Engineer in complex environments.
- Strong expertise in data architecture, integration, and analytical platforms.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
- Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle practices.
- Experience designing and delivering BI and analytics solutions, including dashboards and reporting layers.
- Strong background in software architecture and systems integration, including cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and guide teams through complex challenges.
- Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
