About the role
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions using modern architectural patterns, including microservices and cloud-native approaches.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader, supporting architectural decisions and critical challenges.
- Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
- Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and reliability in production.
- Define and promote engineering best practices, standards, and guidelines across teams.
- Coordinate development, deployment, and operational activities across multiple teams and systems.
- Support cloud strategy and implementation on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Lead technical assessments, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Ensure alignment with Agile delivery models and actively participate in ceremonies and planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, or Solutions Architect in complex software development environments.
- Strong background in software engineering and solution architecture, with hands-on experience in modern application design.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and cloud-native services.
- Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience leading teams through system migrations, including monolith-to-microservices transformations.
- Proficiency in Java and/or cloud-native development stacks.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication for collaboration with global teams.
