About the role
- Create test plans and scenarios based on functional requirements and user stories.
- Perform manual, exploratory, regression, and smoke tests.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts for web, mobile, and APIs.
- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly, and track their resolution.
- Participate in Dailies, Plannings, and Retrospectives, ensuring acceptance criteria are clear from the start.
- Validate data integrity and integrations between systems and databases.
- Generate test data sets for executing functional tests.
- Report results of test execution cycles.
Requirements
- Proficiency in techniques such as BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
- Experience with test frameworks.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and Python for scripting.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL for querying and validating test data.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git).
- Degree in IT or related fields.
