About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Qualify and nurture leads to determine fit, scope, complexity, and potential value
- Conduct discovery calls and run product demonstrations
- Present solutions, pricing, and proposals aligned to customer needs
- Maintain accurate, timely CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align opportunities based on complexity and future growth potential
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota
- Support smooth transitions to onboarding, account management, or support teams
- Travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, or strategic engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of successful B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage deals from qualification through close
- Experience selling technology-based solutions
- Proficiency using a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Comfortable running live demos and executive-level presentations
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, competitive, and quota-driven
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in security, risk, public safety, or related industries (nice to have)
- Experience selling data, analytics, or report-based solutions (nice to have)
- Exposure to SaaS or cloud-based platforms (nice to have)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant experience) (nice to have)
