About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Legal management of a portion of the Sodiaal group's companies in France and internationally
- Monitoring corporate actions and drafting corporate documents (approval of accounts, amendments to articles of association, capital transactions, share transfers, etc.)
- Legal preparation for and administration of the group's boards of directors and shareholders' meetings
- Support and advice on governance issues for the business units
- Legal monitoring related to your area of activity
- Preparation and drafting of legal documents related to extraordinary transactions
- Drafting and implementation of intra-group agreements
- Drafting and implementation of powers of attorney and delegations of authority and responsibility
- Legal analysis, drafting and negotiation of real estate contracts in collaboration with notaries
- Managing external counsel
- Drafting correspondence and transactional protocols; liaising with notaries, real estate agents, and litigation counsel; where applicable, managing and overseeing disputes
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial, professional, civil and residential leases.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Business Law/Corporate Law, preferably supplemented by real estate law
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience (excluding internships and work-study)
- Strong listening skills, methodical approach, ability to explain clearly, and negotiation skills
- Professional working proficiency in English is a plus.
