About the role

  • Managing solar transactions, including negotiation, due diligence, financial modelling
  • Performing financial, structuring and legal analysis on target deals
  • Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation with external parties
  • Working closely with Business Development, Risk, Engineering, Finance and Asset Management
  • Pitching to clients and coming up with innovative solutions
  • Analysing, pricing and executing opportunities in secondary markets
  • Helping to define and execute on the strategy for solar projects

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in financial and/or legal structuring and/or M&A
  • Several years of experience structuring C&I or utility scale solar projects
  • An affinity for numbers and quantitative matters
  • A solid understanding of financial risks
  • A solid understanding of solar financial products
  • Experience with legal documentation
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with various stakeholders
  • Good at juggling multiple transactions and projects
  • A track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office / Google suite and other remote working tools
  • Excellent written and spoken English required
  • A degree in finance, business, law or related qualifying experience
