About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build full-stack features across a TypeScript / Express / React / PostgreSQL codebase — from API and data model through to UI
Develop assessment logic that translates FAIR principles, semantic layers, and ontologies into scoring, validation, and remediation features
Work with AI-assisted tooling, including Claude Code, as a core part of the development workflow, and help shape how we use it
Harden the platform for enterprise use — security, audit trails, regulated-industry compliance, and on-premise/private-cloud deployment
Integrate external systems such as data lakehouses, catalogs, and knowledge-graph stores
Write clean, tested, maintainable code — strong typing, real test coverage, no stubs or placeholders
Partner with the founder on roadmap, architecture, and technical trade-offs

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years of application development experience, ideally full-stack
Anthropic Claude certification at the Architect level
Working understanding of what a knowledge engineer does, and fluency with semantic layers and ontologies, such as RDF, OWL, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs
Proficiency across front-end and back-end work in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack
Strong fundamentals in data modeling and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Comfort working independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
