Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct inspections and tests of various petroleum products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Under supervision, responsible for measuring, gauging, and recording temperatures of various materials in shore tanks.
Conduct field calculations in accordance with company guidelines and API standards.
Collect, label, and deliver samples to the laboratory promptly.
Document inspection findings and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
Evaluate equipment, processes, and safety measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the inspector trainer to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of safety regulations and quality control processes in petroleum operations.
Strong math comprehension skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in various outdoor environments and adhere to safety protocols.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
