About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Field, answer, or refer customer inquiries about EFT enrollments for problem resolution
  • Perform EFT validation calls
  • Process and update the Transaction Enrollment tool on Availity Essentials
  • Update and maintain internal documents related to EFT enrollment and validation
  • Research and resolve Availity escalation issues involving provider portal functions and information display
  • Work with business and product owners to research and resolve issues
  • Document internal EFT customer-reported problems through Remedy and Escalation Tickets
  • Adhere to service level agreements for internal and external customers
  • Support internal and external customers by telephone, email, Remedy tickets, and Availity Client Service tickets
  • Serve as an internal and external support resource
  • Complete tasks, resolve problems, produce EFT reports, and maintain the EFT shared email inbox
  • Perform EFT testing when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Provider Customer Service or a technical Help Desk environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Attention to detail, administration, and demonstrated organizational skills
  • Proficiency with many technical tools and systems across varied computer and network platforms
  • Knowledge of basic PC hardware, applications/tools, desktop operating systems, advanced hardware, and software functionality
  • Knowledge of Availity Essentials
  • Excellent problem-solving, process analysis, communication, and people skills
  • Ability to work independently, with team members, and with other departments
  • Conceptual understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology in health care transactions
  • ANSI format knowledge
  • Ability to make determinations quickly and work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a positive and constructive attitude
  • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive phone presence
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Wired internet connection that is not satellite or cellular, with minimum upload speed of 5Mb and minimum download speed of 10 Mb
