About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end launch and sustainment activities for health plan products across multiple brands, markets, and lines of business
- Serve as the key connector between Product Development and Marketing, Sales, and Communications
- Drive membership acquisition and retention through sales strategies, distribution channel management, and product messaging
- Partner with Product Managers to communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions
- Coordinate marketing collateral, sales support materials, trainings, and broker/employer presentations
- Maintain and track product resource materials for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and public-facing websites
- Support product marketing and communications throughout the full product lifecycle
- Develop and oversee cost-effective launch plans for critical lines of business
- Lead product launch sales distribution strategies
- Collaborate with Sales on tools and resources supporting membership growth and retention
- Develop and deliver marketing training and education for Sales and Internal Business teams
- Provide advanced marketing consultation on high-profile projects
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across projects and alignment with marketing and sales strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant field, and 8+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, sales, field support, or product management, including 3–4 years in healthcare or insurance; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Business aptitude with knowledge of healthcare, health insurance, and/or employee benefits
- Expertise in product marketing/go-to-market principles and successful campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level documents and presentations
- Effective project management skills managing multiple complex projects and deadlines
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams or independently and navigate complex organizational issues
- Advanced knowledge of health insurance products, delivery channels, marketing/sales processes, and rating methodologies
- Strong analytical skills to quantify market opportunities and measure go-to-market ROI
- Proficiency in traditional and non-traditional marketing communication strategies, tactics, and ROI measurement
- Demonstrated innovation tied to execution and understanding of operational, political, and public impacts of multi-market launches
- Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making highly desired
- Must reside within commutable distance of a listed office or be willing to relocate
- Background check required
