About the role

  • Own a business or product domain end-to-end, from problem definition to impact measurement
  • Structure ambiguous business questions into clear analytical frameworks
  • Ensure reliable instrumentation, working closely with product teams to validate event tracking and metrics definitions
  • Own and validate core KPIs, ensuring data quality, consistency, and trust
  • Design and maintain scalable dashboards and metrics frameworks that support both strategic and operational decisions
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations with measurable outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders as a trusted thought partner, not just a data provider
  • Leverage AI tools to debug queries, automate analysis, and accelerate insights
  • Mentor junior analysts by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and raising analytical standards across the team
  • Contribute to improving analytics processes, documentation, and ways of working

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, or Data Analytics
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries and data modeling
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (analysis, modeling, structured problem-solving)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong self-management, ownership, and work ethic, able to operate independently and reliably
  • Proven experience translating data into business decisions and impact
  • Deep experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Looker
  • Strong understanding of metrics design, dashboards, and KPI frameworks
  • Proven ability to ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability
  • Experience owning or validating product analytics instrumentation (Mixpanel or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analysis, automation, or modeling (Nice to Have)
  • Exposure to dbt, analytics engineering, or data pipelines (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in a data-driven environment (Nice to Have)
