About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, evaluate, and track potential bidding opportunities
  • Review and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) packages
  • Prepare complete cost estimates including quantity takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment, tools/consumables, transportation, and temporary living arrangements
  • Solicit, evaluate, and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for integration into project estimates
  • Conduct site visits to verify scope, drawings, and logistical considerations
  • Lead turnover meetings with Project Managers for successful bids
  • Support Project Management in pricing change orders and additional work
  • Maintain estimating software and cost history databases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction required
  • Four (4) years of related project management or estimating experience required
  • Experience preparing budgets, cost estimates, and project financial analyses
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project-related software
  • Experience with USACE, NAVFAC or other federal government branches
  • Valid state driver’s license and must be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Company’s Driving Policy
  • Ability to pass drug, driving and background screenings
  • Experience with HCCS “HeavyBid” and or Timberline / Sage software preferred
