About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recommends, implements, and monitors EHS legal requirements, procedures, and programs to ensure 100% compliance
Prepares and submits required regulatory reports including environmental quality reports
Prepares, coordinates, and implements National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and air quality permits
Serves as the EHS lead for new property and business acquisitions and conducts due diligence assessments
Partners with Engineering and Operations on capital projects to ensure EHS aspects are incorporated
Serves as the primary liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies regarding compliance
Develops and conducts EHS training
Responds to emergencies including spills and system upsets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Geology, Natural Science or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
Three years of increasingly responsible experience working as an analyst or administrator in environment, health and safety, or related field
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Valid California Driver License
