About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintains the integrity of enterprise-wide local area networks and cyber security infrastructure
- Participates in planning, developing, testing, implementation and support of technical solutions for company-wide data and voice communications
- Works with vendors and service providers to ensure stability and reliability of company's critical voice and data infrastructure
- Engages with company-wide business units to provide network design solutions for business requirements
- Provides 24x7 on call technical support as required
- Engages with company-wide business units to provide network design solutions for business requirements
- Participates in department planning, research and development to ensure that company is using up-to-date technologies to comply with corporate standards, goals and objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Engineering, Computer Engineering or closely related field
- Master Degree preferred
- Five (5) or more years related experience
- Industry certifications (Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional etc.) preferred
- Significant experience designing and supporting local area and wide area networks
- Advanced understanding and experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Experience with content delivery technologies (F5)
- Experience debugging complex system issues in production environments
