About the role
- Handle complex technical challenges, lead UC implementations, and oversee platform upgrades
- Develop and deploy UC solutions, including VoIP, SIP, and cloud-based communication platforms
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and IT teams to ensure smooth UC operations
- Troubleshoot system failures and accessibility issues
- Perform system upgrades and apply upgrades and patches to CUCM and IOS
- Mentor junior staff, provide leadership in UC implementations, and optimize system performance
Requirements
- TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a poly
- Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and UC operations
- Network administration/engineering experience
- IAT II certification (mandatory)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership
