About the role
- Provide technical oversight and guidance for the development of complex solutions to ensure cohesive operations
- Maintain expert-level understanding of enterprise-level architecture
- Liaise with business analysts and technical team to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise and platform level architecture and standards
- Implement modern AI-based tools and integrate systems
- Define architecture design and ensure initiatives are appropriately aligned
- Work with business analysts and scrum master to create implementation plans for new features
- Work with team members to breakup stories into tasks and assist in completion of tasks in timely fashion
- Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
- Delegate tasks and ensuring all daily, sprint and release goals are achieved
- Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns
- Provide expert advice and technical direction in Agile ceremonies
- Develop product teams technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews
- Oversee the development pipeline and assist with update set promotions such that there is a consistent and reliable process for moving work into production
Requirements
- 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)
- 3+ years’ experience in incremental software development projects such as the Agile Scrum approach
- Professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator
- Must meet 8570/8140 DoD Cyber Workforce Compliance requirement
- Experience managing and maintaining ServiceNow instances
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity best practices
- Experience implementing architecture designed to bring organizational-specific capabilities within an enterprise architecture (e.g. via data separation, multi-tenancy, etc.)
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, Generative AI, and integrating cloud-based systems
- Ability to collaborate with Developers, Project Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
- Proven experience directly overseeing the architecture and development of the entire ServiceNow platform
- Experience in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints
- Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
