About the role
- Designing, coding, modifying, maintaining, and improving existing systems
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and responding to customer requests and requirements
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to improve existing systems
- Debugging and troubleshooting/testing software issues to ensure smooth functionality
- Developing database protocols and analyzing database systems
- Monitor database performance and optimize to ensure optimal efficiency and availability
- Ability to write and optimize Oracle SQL queries
- Familiarity with the NSA accreditation process
- Design and execute database structures, tables, and indexes to meet performance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Experience with classified databases and knowledge of DoD security regulations
- Ability to do .NET development, SQL, and basic Oracle administration
- Understanding and ability to implement code fundamentals
- Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy and procedures
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
