About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop software utilizing PHP, JavaScript, CSS, ColdFusion/Lucee (CFML), and automated scripting (cron jobs)
- Design and develop software utilizing SQL Server and MySQL
- Responsible for account provisioning
- Must understand and develop with 508 compliance in mind
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative delivery.
- Partner with NASA Product Owners to gather and understand customer requirements, ensuring solutions align with mission needs and stakeholder expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation
- Experience providing development support on legacy applications
- Experience developing with modern Node.js, React, Python, JavaScript and .NET
- Experience with SharePoint site maintenance, Power Automate workflows, and basic Power Apps development.
- Prior experience working within the NASA environment or similar government organizations
