About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop software utilizing PHP, JavaScript, CSS, ColdFusion/Lucee (CFML), and automated scripting (cron jobs)
Design and develop software utilizing SQL Server and MySQL
Responsible for account provisioning
Must understand and develop with 508 compliance in mind
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative delivery.
Partner with NASA Product Owners to gather and understand customer requirements, ensuring solutions align with mission needs and stakeholder expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation
Experience providing development support on legacy applications
Experience developing with modern Node.js, React, Python, JavaScript and .NET
Experience with SharePoint site maintenance, Power Automate workflows, and basic Power Apps development.
Prior experience working within the NASA environment or similar government organizations
