Key responsibilities & impact- Provide systems analysis and technical support for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulation environments
- Supporting large-scale Joint and Coalition exercises
- System-of-systems engineering and multi-domain operations
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and data processing problems to develop and implement solutions
- Perform systems management and integration functions for modeling and simulation systems
- Improve existing computer systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations
- Analyze and recommend commercially available software solutions for mission requirements
- Support systems engineering processes throughout the acquisition lifecycle for assigned weapon systems
- Assist in the development and implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and products
- Participate in technical reviews, exercise support, field tests, and configuration management activities
- Support infrastructure operations for government M&S networks and simulation data ecosystems
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, government personnel, and industry partners
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate of Arts (AA) degree, or completion of a 2-year technical school
- Minimum of 3 years experience or 5 years in lieu of degree
- Understanding of systems analysis principles and methodologies
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Desired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
- Familiarity with DOD or Army systems and regulations
- Maintains deep knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and Momentum)
- Experience with systems engineering processes (IEEE 15288 standards)
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., SysML, UPDM)
- Understanding of Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments
- Experience with data analysis and database management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Prior military or defense contractor experience
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or similar
