About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the delivery of a multi-team Agile program developing mission-critical GEOINT capabilities for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
- Serve as the primary interface with Government program leadership, with full responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance
- Direct a cross-functional workforce of engineers, developers, and delivery professionals in a SAFe-based environment
- Shape program strategy, growth, and customer relationships on a high-visibility national security program
- Manage overall program execution including cost, schedule, technical performance, and contract deliverables
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government Program Manager, Contracting Officer's Representative, and mission stakeholders
- Lead staffing, hiring, and subcontractor management to maintain a fully resourced program
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, burn-rate analysis, and invoice review for a Time & Materials contract environment
- Direct Agile delivery cadence and ensure program commitments are met across Program Increments
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and issues; escalate with recommended courses of action
- Drive quality of contract deliverables, monthly status reporting, and program reviews
- Identify and support on-contract growth and new business opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent experience accepted)
- 8+ years of program or project management experience on Government IT programs
- Demonstrated success managing software development programs using Agile methodologies
- Experience managing program financials in a Time & Materials or similar contract environment
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and manage subcontractor relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Government stakeholders
