About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide architectural governance and champion open, flexible solutions that support a responsive, Agile engineering environment
Collaborate with analysts and sustainment teams to validate operational workflows, demonstration threads, and CONOPS for the software baseline
Lead design and planning reviews for maintenance releases, system modifications, fixes, hardware refreshes, end-of-life replacements, and cybersecurity patching
Support the transition to automated tools and processes
Review and refine design documentation related to system sustainment and upgrades
Conduct technical trade studies to identify the most advantageous approaches for engineering change requests
Follow established configuration management processes and perform technical evaluations of Software Change Requests (SCRs)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor of Science degree or 8 years of relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with systems built on virtualized components across on-premises or cloud environments
Strong understanding of virtual infrastructures, including compute and storage resources, virtual machines (VMs), and basic networking
