About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from mission needs to delivered capability
- Define and manage system interfaces, interface control documentation, and cross-system dependencies
- Develop and maintain system design documentation, engineering artifacts, and technical baselines
- Lead verification and validation planning and support test execution across releases
- Perform engineering trade studies and risk assessments; recommend courses of action
- Coordinate engineering activities with Government engineers, delivery teams, and external programs
- Mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers and enforce engineering standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- TS/SCI Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with ability to obtain Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted)
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex software-intensive systems
- Demonstrated experience with requirements management, interface definition, and V&V
- Experience supporting Government programs through engineering reviews and technical baselines
- Strong technical writing and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work on-site at a Government facility
