About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues (servers, network, security, etc.) using advanced systems analysis techniques
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity
- Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and ensure robust security measures are in place
- Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain the security and integrity of the technical environment
- Support new infrastructure projects and initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation for all assigned infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, software developers, testers, security teams, and stakeholders
- Be available for off-hours work as needed for support and deployments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI w/ poly
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems in development/test and production environments
- Prior experience in a corporate or customer-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and investigative skills to understand and resolve complex problems
- Experience managing large projects or processes that span multiple departments
