About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

support CCTV System design, development, and Proof of concepts
oversee installation and commissioning of network-based CCTV security systems
provide measurable input into design elements of future systems
evaluate shipboard environments for the installation of equipment
install and/or oversee installation of applicable equipment
perform onsite testing of equipment and coordinate with other engineers
install and/or oversee installation of applicable cables
troubleshoot hardware and software issues at commissioning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Requires 5 years’ experience as a field engineer supporting technical programs
Experience in installing, modifying, or maintaining shipboard CCTV systems and/or networks, including compliance with ABS and USCG requirements for electrical installations
Experience in IP Related Services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, and SIP
Working knowledge of CAT5-5E, CAT6, and Fiber Optic cable, connectors, and demonstrated capability of fabricating required equipment
Familiar with Windows and or Unix type of Operating Systems
Experience using VISIO and MS Office
Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
