About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expertise on technical capabilities related to development of ServiceNow with focus on IT Service Management.
Develop and implement technical solutions and perform integration and functional testing.
Work with Senior leadership and a team with a variety of subject matter expertise on the criteria and process maps required for EITSM development.
Collaborate with development team, project managers and Operations teams to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
Create and manage scripts and workflows/flows.
Address problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
Perform Architecture design and reviews ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state.
Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
Build dashboards based on application data models and external data sources.
Participate in development of software documentation and technical reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Conduct product demonstrations to stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
10+ Years of relevant development experience
Certified ServiceNow Developer certification
Advanced development experience with ServiceNow implementations
Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow modules (Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management)
Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Experience with scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
Understanding technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow
Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM modules and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
Must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members
Experience in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints
