About the role
- Advise warfighters in effective execution of mission objectives through direction of airborne assets and coordination of ground/sea forces using advanced command and control systems
- Support USAF development and implementation of air battle plans in coordination with mission objectives
- Monitor and assess battlefield environments to adapt strategies real-time
- Identify capability gaps and develop C3I DOTMLPF-P requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise for Air Battle Management capability development, gap analysis, and experiment planning
- Provide doctrinal expertise across all C3I Warfighting Functions
- Maintain clear and concise communication with warfighters and stakeholders
- Support leadership in briefing/debriefing of objectives, strategies, and outcomes
- Research and incorporate data from military policy, campaign strategies, and war plans
- Analyze Command and Control mission task completion and achievement of objectives
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in U.S. military agency (military or civilian) in progressive command and staff positions
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Military Science)
- Significant experience in air operations, preferably in a command and control role
- Proven track record of successful mission management and execution
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in using command and control systems and avionics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI
