SAP Business Analyst
CACI International IncSAP Business Analyst supporting the modernization and transformation of NASA's enterprise business solutions. Involves complex problem solving and stakeholder collaboration for process optimizations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Document functional gaps, process deltas, requirements, and remediation strategies.
- Review SAP Simplification Items and advise on impacts to NASA’s business processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and S/4HANA standardization.
- Develop and maintain detailed process maps for “As Is” and “To Be” state.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate future-state design and confirm alignment with federal financial standards (USSGL, IPAC, GTAS, Treasury reporting).
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration, development, and reporting.
- Coordinate across functional, technical, and security teams to ensure an integrated solution design.
- Identify S/4HANA changes required for interface remediation, API adoption, and modernization opportunities.
- Validate end-to-end functional behavior across interfacing systems during testing cycles.
- Contribute to updates of SOPs, job aids, training content, and end-user documentation to support change management and adoption.
Requirements
What you’ll need- One or more years of SAP experience supporting SAP Security in a Public Sector environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation.
- Experience supporting NASA programs.
- Experience with SAP Activate Methodology.
