About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide comprehensive or specialized support to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) offices
Support the development, validation, and maintenance of Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs)
Conduct cost modeling and analysis to support TSA program planning
Assist in the formulation, development, tracking, analysis, and reporting of TSA budget and spend plans
Conduct trend analyses, burn rate assessments, and projection modeling
Provide forward-looking analysis and scenario planning based on anticipated TSA program needs
Develop TSA program operational and financial metrics and benchmarking analyses
Support TSA revenue forecasting, fee reconciliation, and carryover projections
Assist with TSA capital investment planning and reporting
Support TSA audit preparation, documentation gathering, compliance checks, and corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, budget management, or a related field
Knowledge of TSA or DHS financial operations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with financial management systems and software
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) preferred
Master’s degree preferred
