About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support critical end user applications and work in a highly Agile environment as both a mentor and technology leader.
Provide Architect decisions and direction for the ICAM and Cyber areas within NCAPS.
Champion special projects and technical upgrades.
Evolve NASA vision by delivering a rigorous approach to IT Architecture across the NCAPS portfolio
Lead a team of architects responsible for apps rationalization and solution modernization
Support and strengthen NCAPS governance, federal enterprise architecture and cloud migration frameworks
Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategies
Collaborate with end-user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Administration or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior senior architecture experience supporting U.S. government customers
Producing architecture artifacts with tools such as PowerPoint or Visio
Developing strategic IT roadmaps and briefings
Experience with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework
Experience with a variety of technology stacks and platforms (.NET, Java, SQL, ColdFusion, etc.).
Active Public Trust clearance; secret clearance preferred
12+ years related technical experience
