Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT network infrastructure
Conduct site surveys, design and architect wired and wireless network and IT solutions
Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation
Ensure Network systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments
Conduct testing and validation of network solutions to ensure functionality and reliability
Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance network reliability and efficiency
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure server/system solutions align with business objectives
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
10 years in IT technologies and network design
Active industry certification in Networking
Strong understanding of IT systems architecture principles and practices
Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching
Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex network and WiFi architectures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
