Partner with cyber leaders to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering
Think like an adversary to secure and harden infrastructure using DevSecOps principles
Explore automation and code scanning tools and workflows
Work with DevSecOps technologies and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Leverage AI for cybersecurity solution engineering
Create infrastructure to support task automation and configure VMs and virtual networks
Understand adversarial tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Configure virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks and use virtualization/hypervisors
Participate in a 12-week internship beginning in May with hybrid in-person expectation (at least 3 days/week)
Collaborate with team members and develop professional skills in a mission-driven environment
Requirements
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or related field
Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in major coursework (exceptions considered case-by-case)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
Minimum program commitment of 12 weeks
Development experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++/C#
Proficiency with some or all of: Windows, Linux, Python, Docker, Git, Proxmox, an AI library (Tensorflow, LlamaIndex, Pytorch etc.), CUDA, Sveltekit, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Vector Stores (Chroma), Networking, Shell Scripting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment
Desired: Knowledge of virtualization and building training labs
Desired: Basic understanding of hardware components of servers and desktop computers
Desired: Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Git/GitHub/GitLab, OpenVPN, VMware/VirtualBox or other hypervisor, Python, Flask, APIs
Desired: Participation in Capture the Flag (CTF) or Hack-a-thon events
Desired: Familiarity with Scrum or Agile project management methodologies
