About the role

Support software development and engineering, operations and maintenance (O&M) and research and development (R&D) for AF C2 & ISR related research, studies, analysis, and operations to improve battlespace awareness and decision-making support across Combat Air Force C2 and ISR enterprise, Intelligence Community (IC), Joint, and Coalition components
Operate in all phases of the application lifecycle
Use industry proven design patterns and open-source tools; stay educated on current technology trends
Provide design and development expertise for new application development and maintenance
Be part of an agile team; communicate and execute within the established development process
Support entire product lifecycle including systems engineering, requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment
Travel: Up to 10% continental US

1+ years experience with software development (e.g., Java (J2EE), JavaScript, Spring, etc.) as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices (e.g., git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub)
US Citizen clearable to TS/SCI (We can hire while the clearance is processed)
1+ years experience with web application development to include (JavaScript, Node.js, Angular or React)
Experience with industry standard build, packaging, and deployment tools such as (Gitlab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM)
Intermediate debugging and run time skills
Experience using AGILE SCRUM or other similar methodology (XP) preferred
Ability to work on site weekly in Omaha, NE or Hampton, VA with a hybrid schedule
Experience in containerization for development and cloud deployment (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack) (Desired)
Calibra (Desired)
Linux experience (Desired)
Experience with DevSecOps and/or CI/CD (Desired)
Experience in designing and developing RESTful interfaces (Desired)
Experience with a major cloud provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) (Desired)
