About the role
- Support the creation of network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts (Visio)
- Assist the Site Survey and Engineering team in the design of modernized network architecture
- Implement, and document secure network architectures
- Support the deployment of network management tools (SNMP, SYSLOG, orchestration)
- Perform, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues
- Provide Tier 2 support to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams
- Ensure that all installations meet industry safety standards and operational cleanliness
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related work experience
- HS diploma/associate degree with 5+ years of DoD experience supporting large, complex networks may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
- Direct experience managing Air Force Base Area Networks
- DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); or equivalent
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
